Larry Thompson Obituary, Death – In the early morning hours of Saturday, January 20, 2024, Larry A. Thompson, who was 68 years old and from Clintonville, passed suddenly unexpectedly at the ThedaCare Medical Center in New London. The eighth child of Harvey and Dorothy (Davison) Thompson, Larry Alan Thompson was born in Racine. He was the eighth kid overall. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1973 and joined the United States Army soon after. in great pride,

he served in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. His two tours of duty in Germany were quite meaningful to him, and he was discharged with honor in the year 1985. Larry retired in 2015 after having spent a significant amount of time working at FWD Seagrave and, later, Schutt Industries in Clintonville. It was in 1978 when he was blessed with two lovely daughters, Melissa and Melanie, who were born to him and his wife, Patty Rohde, who he had married. The time that Larry spent with his extended family was something that he treasured and loved to the utmost, whether it was going on horse trail rides, playing pool, or simply hanging out with his pals.
