According to the Onondaga Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Liverpool resident Madison Faltisco was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Route 57 early on Friday.

While being detained by police, the alleged driver of a tragic hit-and-run accident in Clay Town is receiving medical attention at a hospital.

Deputies arrived on the scene a short while after 5:00 in the morning. The route was suspended for a few hours on Friday morning. It has since been reopened. According to Sheriff Shelley’s office, there is video documentation of the woman rambling down the side of the road.

The driver of the hit-and-run incident may have also been involved in an accident that happened at the Salvation Army on Oswego Road shortly after 10:45 p.m., according to the district attorney’s analysis of the available evidence.
